Once again I get a bad phone call today. My cousins little daughter broke her arm really bad today. The ambulance took them to their local hospital and the doctors there told them to get right back into the ambulance and head to St. Louis where she needs to see a specialist because it is bad. I dont know if she had surgery tonight or if she will get it tomorrow. Please pray that everything is okay with her and she recovers well. She is to young to go through this. This is he 2nd broken bone this year.
As far as I go, today was unfortunately a bad day. I guess with all the good days I have had lately, I was bound to have a bad day. I didnt sleep well last night and had a mild headache that would just not go away, and then all day I just had absolutely no energy. Luckily I didnt have any appointments at the hospital today to wear me farther down and could relax. Tomorrow I have a CT scan to check the pancreas.
Once again, everyone be careful with everything you do this year, it is not a good year.

oh for goodness sakes... I hope that she is ok-- you guys need and deserve a break already!
Delaney told the doctor to call you, because 'Lindsay has been thru this and she will know what to do.' Surgery over, horrific break, can move her fingers but can't feel in two...pediatric orthopedic surgeon says as severe as her injury was, it may take awhile. She's to be released yet today. Break just above elbow; he's calling it a compound fracture, even tho didn't break skin..but a miracle it didn't. Cast from arm pit to finger tips. Then more surgery down the road to remove pins, etc. Not easy, huh? Wanted you to know that Delaney told doctors all about how strong, brave and fighting you were and that she would try to do the same!!! Love ya...
We are home. Delaney is not happy. She wanted to know who had the worse break, she or you. In case she asks, it was a tie!!! How many pins do you have? We have four.
Oh, and by the way, Delaney is dropping out of school after this year. Two years of school, two breaks at school. In her logic, if you don't go back, don't have to worry. Yeah, I raised a first grade drop out!!!
