July 6th, 7:00 PM

Just got a call from Debbie. Lindsay got her first nebulizer treatment and it was hell on her. They wrap her in this blanket that basically beats the phlegm up out of her chest. So they nebulize her and beat on her to try to get the phlegm loosened and then they get it suctioned or coughed out.

Debbie said they did get quite a bit out and we know that this is all for her own good to prevent pneumonia but it is HELL watching it happen. She was in so much pain and crying out for them to stop the whole time they were doing it.

Please continue to pray for Lindsay's strength to get through this terribly painful next few weeks!!

I am praying for Lindsay and your family. I hope that her pain eases quckly and that her recovery is a great one. I can only imagine the pain that this is for everyone, for you have to witness all of this pain, I can only imagine your heart aches at every wince or tear she sheds. I remember my mom's accident vivdly, and it is definitely heart breaking to watch someone you love be in so much pain. My sister also checks this daily and she sends her prayers as well. I will continue to pray for Lindsay and your family throughout this healing process. Nikki Hoeksema (Nikki Webb)

This is hell to read! It makes me angry she is having to fight so hard. It makes me sad that none of us can switch places with her and make her pain go away.

If I have to find a bright side right now...which I do...for Lindsay....it's that all of this will make her a better and even more compassionate doctor.

Can we fast forward to two months from now? Hang in there Lindsay....YOU CAN DO THIS AND YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

Dear Lindsay, we haven't met yet, but I'm sure our paths will cross when you come back to work. I heard about your accident from one of your coworkers. I am praying for you and a speedy recovery.

Lindsay,
You are a fighter and always have been ever since I have known you through high school! Please continue to stay strong. Not only for yourself and your family, but for your little, precious son of yours! He loves his mommy and wants her to come home healthy to raise him up right! Please know this is for your own good. I know this is easier said than done, but please continue to fight! We are ALL praying for you and your recovery! You can do this! We love you!!!! God bless!
