July 6th, 7:00 AM

She had a very good night. Her blood pressure from her vein was reading really high so they changed out her filter on that and it came back down to normal.

They were in every two hours moving her, rolling her, changing her sheets, etc. so this morning they upped her fentenyl to 175.

They also turned off her Propothol at 7:00 this morning because they plan is to try to extubate her again this morning.

Other than that, her eyes are open for longer periods and my mom swears she was looking around at the pictures of Landen on the walls.

We are all praying that the extubation goes well this morning and by this afternoon she will be breathing all on her own.

Lindsay,
Remember Dr. Baer's lung physiology lectures--- BLOW! BLOW! BLOW! Increased tidal volume is better than increase rate! You can do it girl!

I keep following the progress and am impressed by how well she continues to do - must be exceeding every expectation! Keep going Lindsay! And thanks Heather for the updates :) We'll continue to pray for her safety and comfort. And family - GET SOME SLEEP SOMETIME! She's going to need you to be awake when she finally is. Easy for me to say, but don't forget to take care of yourselves... May God continue to bless you and her recovery.

I'm glad to hear Lindsay is pulling through all of this as well as she is. How sad and horrible such a thing like this happened to your family! My thoughts and prayers are definitely with you through this recovery journey! May God continue to bless and strengthen all of you.
