Lindsay's room is packed, her appointments are made and in less than an hour she will be on the road back to her house. I can't believe how far she has come yet I'm so happy for her to be able to be going home.
I have a feeling there will be many trips to her house in my future.
For the time being I have shown her how to work the blog and given her administrator privileges to her own blog (go figure). So, I will be signing off. If she needs me to, I will gladly post on her behalf.
If she doesn't, thank you ALL for reading and for your thoughts and prayers for Lindsay. I shall be returning to my little corner of cyberspace:

Feel free to visit me there.

Thanks Heather for keeping us updating daily! You are a great sister to Lindsay and I am sure you two have grown even closer through all of this!

Heather,
I also wanted to thank you so much for keeping all of us updated like you did. Every day when I would come into work at Fedex, the first thing I would do is read all your updates. I have kept Lindsay in my prayers daily. I have never met her, but Tim has always talked about her when he would come to Dubuque and he would fill me in on what's happening with his new family. I now feel I need to meet this super-woman personally and give her a big hug and kiss. Hopefully some day when they come to Dubuque I can walk over to Tim's mom house and do just that. Thanks again for all the blogs and look forward to hearing from Lindsay.
Great news!! Thanks for keeping everyone updated Heather!
Lindsay you are amazing... such a LONG way in two weeks. Keep it up!
Awesome I am so glad you are doing better! Keep us all updated on your progress! Take an easy. You are still in our thoughts and prayers!
I left a comment but don't see it so am leaving another. I am happy you get to go home today. I was planning on driving down to see you tomorrow, but know that you will recover better at home. Aunt Sue

I just wrote a note on Lindsay's comments of her first day and night home, so this one is for you, Heather. What you have done for everyone who knows and loves Lindsay, is truly remarkable. Having the option of entering this blog to receive current and correct updates several times a day has been a blessing. You are so thoughtful and what a great sister you are! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Being awesome runs in the family!
