July 4th, 9:00 AM

The surgeon just came out. Her injuries look good, she is healing well, her bowels look fine and she is now closed. They put a drain in her side to help with any fluid that may accumulate but everything looks good so far.

The Orthopedic doctor also came in and said that she is tolerating anesthetic well so they are going ahead with fixing her arm. They will put in the plates and screws to fix the broken bones and also work on her tendons and nerves.

Your prayers are working, she is healing, please keep them coming!!

Thank you once again, Heather, for continuing to keep everyone informed through this blog. I find myself checking it often for news. The news this morning is encouraging and we hope it continues. It is apparent that Lindsay is giving it her best fight. Our prayers continue for her and your family. As hard as it is, try to get as much rest as you can. Lindsay will need her family more than ever as she recovers.
